As a General Accountant, you will be responsible for reconciling assigned general ledger accounts; preparation of journal entries; work with other departments in the analysis of variances; and assist the Controller and Accounting Supervisor to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements. - Communicate with business units and corporate departments regarding daily accounting issues
- Prepare journal entries to properly reflect transactions and provide adequate supporting documentation
- Research and respond to accounting questions from Management
- Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and ensure that all reconciling items are resolved timely and all appropriate journal entries are recorded
